Old Friends

The last weekend in January we headed south to Des Moines to spend a day with some old friends that Brandon and I grew up with. We had an awesome time catching up with Devin and Jacqulyn, and the boys had a great time with their little boy Cameron. Cameron is three days older than Brayden, and these two had a blast with each other. It was so fun watching them interact. Brandon and I both think they look and act a lot alike. We had such a good time and shared lots of laughs! Thank you Devin and Jacqulyn for letting us raid your house, and we can't wait to see you all again!!

Cameron, Brody, and Brayden

I guess lunch was too much to handle at Red Robin

Cameron and Brody were glued to the TV at times, silly boys.

These two silly boys messing around on the steps together--loved hearing their giggles!

Throwback

Found this beauty the other day while I was trying to pack up some boxes. My sister and I were messing around with an underwater camera during the 4th of July weekend back in 2008! Coming across this made me laugh! Now wonder I only got one box packed--took me forever after going through pictures. Good memories!

Sleeping Beauties

My mom was over last week and I was looking through her phone and came across these pictures of my sleeping beauties. These pictures just crack me up--just the positions on how they fell asleep. Oh my silly boys!

Exciting News

First of all I want to apologize for not keeping up-to-date. I have lots to catch up on and lots to fill everyone in on. These past two weeks have been absolutely crazy and hectic. For the past year I would say that Brandon and I have been looking at buying a new home, well about two weeks ago we found a house that we really liked and could visualize our self and our family making it our new home. With that being said, we finally came to the conclusion that we wanted to go ahead and put our house on the market and see where that would take us. Less than 24 hours of listing our house, we had an offer on our home and put an offer on the home that would we like to call our home. Good news: both offers were accepted and now we are in the waiting game of inspections and appraisals! Our anticipated move date will be March 21--closing in on me fast--so much to do and not enough time!!

This is a bittersweet moment for Brandon and I both. I love our current home that we are in, and we have made so many memories within the past 4 1/2 years. We have great neighbors and are very sad to leave them! This part will make the move even harder on me because I will miss them greatly, and I hope to have good neighbors to the place we are moving to.  Our little family has outgrown our current home, and we have decided to upgrade to a larger home. I'm excited for this new chapter, but very sad to leave our current neighbors and my current little home that I love!

Driving home for the first time and seeing this sign in our yard actually brought me to tears...I'm such a softy these days!
